Commission based on a commemorative piece for a lady who experienced the loss of her child through still birth. She chose a sunflower which typically represents faith, devotion, positivity & hope. It's lengthy bloom cycle reflects the endurance of family & relationships that are most significant to us and its natural ability to follow the trail of the sun reminds us of hope and optimism even in difficult times. This piece is comprised of multiple images of the same sunflower, two halves of one whole which are both connected and at the same time abstracted from each other…
